Every year, the Beaver County unit of the NAACP enacts the mission of “secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights, in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons” by partnering with local individuals and organizations to grant $1000 scholarships to deserving students who might need a little help in leveling the playing field of opportunity.

The NAACP is the most respected civil rights organization in our nation. We seek to invite you to contribute to our cause. We invite you to tell a young person, “We as your community believe in you. We see your potential. We invite your contribution.”
